Simply Inked Card
I Teach Stamping

I LOVE a great cover plate die. Many times you order them and they aren't the right size or proportion. But when they are right, they are right!!! I love them because you can make such amazing looking cards without much work at all. You look like a card making rockstar, with just ink and some card stock. And that's a total win in my books. Today's card uses some bright and vibrant colors of ink and a simple sentiment, finished with coordinating sequins. Intrigued? I hope so! Playing With New Inks Playing with new inks has been so much fun. It's completely crazy the power of colors! A new color ..read more

Picking Friends Is So Important!
I Teach Stamping

My favorite friendships are the ones that endure during periods of absence. You know that friend that you haven't talked to in years, but you get on the phone with her, and you are able to pick right back up where you left off? You catch up on what the family is doing, what they've been doing, and it just feels right? That's how my phone call went with Catherine a few weeks ago. We used to talk every day, roomed together, vacationed together with our hubbies, all the things. And then life got busy and we were busy doing our own things. About 10 days after our phone call, my first package with ..read more

Everyday Details – The Die Set I Almost Didn’t See
I Teach Stamping
by Megan Daves

I love a good bundle, because I love things that coordinate. Coordination is the name of the game when it comes to card making! And many times, I skip over a bundle if there is part of it I don't care for. That's exactly how I almost missed the Everyday Details dies. They are available in a bundle or on their own in the Jan-Apr catalog. I don't really like the stamp set in that bundle, as I wouldn't use it much. It's not bad, it's got cute fonts and sentiments, but it's just not my thing right now. So I really didn't pay attention to the dies much. But I knew I had seen these cute dotted dies ..read more

Cutest Cows – Finally Using the Cow!
I Teach Stamping
by Megan Daves

The Cutest Cow bundle is so much fun to use, and today I am finally sharing a project that uses the cow image instead of the flowers. But that's probably what I like most about this bundle is that you can use it for way more than just the cows. Take a look at what all is in it: I've shared this project and this project using the big flowers. And today is the day that I share a cow card! It's So Easy To Use I think I put off using the cow images due to thinking it would take longer than it does. And I don't know why. It doesn't appear that way in looking at the stamps, but I think that's why I ..read more

Fun Masculine Birthday Card

This bundle cracks me up! Normally I am not a chicken/rooster card, but the more I looked at the Hey Chuck bundle, the more it just made me laugh. I am all for laughter. Anyone else? Let me share this bundle with you and then I will point out what I saw. I always liked the little fence with this card. I love how it has a die cut with it if you get the bundle. You can use that for so many cards. In the stamp set, there are 11 images and only 4 are of the poultry nature. And that skateboard, you can easily use tat as a plant stand for all your plant images. It can hold moving boxes like a furni ..read more

Sweet and Simple Floral Card
I Teach Stamping

Today I am sharing a sweet and simple card idea with you. It's using the same cow stamp set that I used here, but still not a cow card! I will have some cow cards to share with you soon, I promise! But I love these flowers so much, I find myself using this stamp over and over again. It comes from this bundle here: The Project This card came to be because a neighbor needed a thank you card for a friend and her friend loves sunflowers. So I whipped up this bad boy in no time at all. The patterned paper helped tremendously with that. That paper is one of the 2024 SAB items. So you can't buy it, b ..read more

What do you get when you cross a cow stamp set with a telephone stamp set? An awesome card!!! It all came together so well for a Mystery Stamping event we did in Stamping Family. This was the card at the end. Everyone that participated that day made such beautiful cards! Even Jen liked hers (which is a 50/50 kinda thing!) If you haven't ever done Mystery Stamping, you should join us! We do these about every 6 weeks, it's a family favorite! Before we get to the card, let's talk about this patterned paper…. It's a funny story, one of too much paper – can you relate? First, let me show you the pa ..read more

There’s Still Time To Make Valentine’s Day Cards!
I Teach Stamping

If you're wondering if there is still time to make your Valentine's day cards, the answer is YES! But you don't have a moment to lose. The products I would recommend most for this are the ones in the Bee My Valentine bundle and patterned paper. There is an entire suite that has little decorative doodads and little boxes to hold treats. But bee sure to get the stamps, punch, and patterned paper! The suite does have that ribbon though, I just remembered that. So I will link to the product suite here. I totally forgot it had the ribbon! It's adorable! And I love how versatile that stamp set is! T ..read more

Softly Sophisticated – SAB Favorite

Today I am sharing a project using the Softly Sophisticated Sale-a-Bration bundle. This stamp set/embossing folder bundle is one of my favorite 2024 SAB selections. Sale-a-Bration items are ones that you can't purchase, they are gift with purchase selections. Because this one is a bundle, it's one you can choose with a $100 order, rather than a $50 selection for a singular items. To learn more about SAB, click here. This stamp set looks super simple, but that is the beauty of it. It's two step stamping at it's finest. Let me share the bundle with you: Pretty, right? I love that the embossing ..read more

Sending a Love Note
I Teach Stamping

The dies in the Sending Love bundle are awesome! I used them today to make a love note, but you can use these dies to make any type of card. For today's project, I used a few stamps, but it really is all about the dies. When you assemble the mailbox and cute envelope, you can decorate it any way that works for you. And it may look like it took a long time to create this card, as many die sets do take a lot of time. But from start to finish, this entire card was made in under 15 minutes. I did use the stamps that coordinate with the dies, so let me show you this bundle. There are 15 dies in th ..read more
