Thanks so much for challenging me to make lots of January 2024 Thank You Cards!  I loved the new catalog and Sale-a-Bration selections when I saw them in late November.  I'm super glad many of you have too.  Remember one of the perks of being my customer is that you get catalogs mailed to you for free when you choose me as your demonstrator and order from me in the six months before a new catalog begins. For this card I kept things pretty simple as I was doing a mass production project along with needing to get them done pretty quick. Read below for layering, dimensions and a ..read more

Autumn Leaves Quick & Easy Showcase Card – that's a fancy name for how I created this card.  It's really more akin to the phrase “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks”.  I just stamped and die cut a lot of images and then arranged them starting with the two largest leaves on the front of the card.  I attached the largest leaves with dimensionals only at their base so they would hold to the card, but allow me to use glue dots and more dimensionals to add all the other leaves, greeting and layering label.  Thank goodness I decided to add the pierced dots di ..read more

For our first card in August let's start with a clean and simple quick card with Cheerful Daisies.  Now I do love all the dies that come in the bundle with this stamp set, but the stamps themselves are really stunning on their own.  I've found myself creating lots of greeting only cards and wanted to share one with more.  What do I mean by that?  I mean cards where only the greeting is stamped and the rest of the charm and character comes from the materials used, how they are cut or embossed and the accessories. In today's video, Four Valentine Cards from One Sketch, you'll see just how not to fear starting with a sketch.  What does that mean?  Some crafters feel like a sketch is too confining.  Some feel like they have to follow the sketch exactly in order to enter a contest or participate in a swap based on sketch.  That's just not the case.  A sketch is your starting point.  From there you pick not only the stamps, papers and embellishments, but also just how far you're going to stretch the sketch. Let me know in the comments if you're planning to send lots of V ..read more
