Street food is something that has long been associated with the streets of Bangkok. You are hard pressed to walk more than a foot without stumbling across a vendor selling anything from a spicy curry, to deep fried bananas, to Thai tea.
A new craze has now arrived in Bangkok.
Say sawadee khrap/ka (delete as appropriate) to……the food truck.
We hear you ask, where are we to go in Bangkok to jump on this bandwagon. Wonder no more, because here is our guide to the hottest kids on the block:

Now, we all know Ayutthaya for it’s amazing history as a UNESCO Heritage site. It’s full of beautiful temples, but did you know that there is some GREAT food to be had there, too?
Now, of course, all Thai food is amazing, but when we venture out of the city, it’s a nice chance to relax and try out some of the specialties of the area, as well as some other less-common Thai dishes that you can’t find everywhere!
On a recent day-off, we spent a bit of time eating our way around Ayutthaya and here are some of our favorite dishes we indulged in:
River Prawns
Believe it or not, Ayutth ..read more

One thing that we’ve always appreciated about Thai people, is their resilience. In the face of countless obstacles, the Thai people, pick up, move on and are super-able to make the best out of a situation. Most of the places we go, foods we taste and people we visit are not tourist spots, they are local businesses who serve the local community, too! If they were not there, out of fear, it wouldn’t only be our tours that would suffer, but the general public would miss out on a ..read more

We really do love our street food here in Bangkok, but every once-in-a-while, you may find us out inspecting and savouring some of the beautiful sights and neighborhoods of the city, not just eating!
We’ve recently been spending more time in the Old Town neighborhood of Bangkok. Its chill vibe is the complete opposite of the heavy traffic and buzzing sounds of downtown.
