I understand that most commercial ranges have a clearance of between 6-10” from combustible materials. Assuming that this distance is maintained, is it ok to place a range next to a 3 compartment sink? So, there would be the range, then 10” space, then 3 compartment sink with drain boards on each side. There would also be an under counter dishwasher under the drainboard that’s next to the range. Does this violate the FDA health code in any way? Hi! I just started a job as a waitress and they are saying that I am required to cover any customers walkouts (dine and dash) that may happen or be fired. I was under the impression that is wage theft, but In my state I guess it is only "illegal if the deduction reduces the employee's wages below the minimum wage or cuts into overtime pay." Can someone explain to me what that means? And what should I do/ tips in the event it does happen to me and I refuse to pay for the customers walkout tab? I (18f) work at a restaurant and recently my coworker was talking shit about the way I do my job in front of staff as well as costumers. Later on in the night I approached her and very nicely said, “I like you a lot, but I don’t appreciate the comment you made about me earlier.” She then proceeds to yell at me and tell me that she’s a grown woman and doesn’t owe me any respect, and that she can talk about me however she wants.
