Hi there! I am excited to share this rainbow card with you all! It's almost graduation season and I thought this would be a fun, unconventional graduation or end of the year card for a teacher. I used the HA + RT Crowd Fancy Die and cut it from Cherry, Papaya, Canary, Kiwi, Mist, Lapis, Amethyst and Azalea. I die cut each color at the top of an A2 panel. I trimmed the Cherry panel to fit on the front of a card panel. Then, I adhered the Papaya panel with Precision Glue just below the Cherry and trimmed off the excess from the bottom. I did cut each color vertically so the crowd was varied a bi ..read more

Let's Create a Shaped Card
Hero Arts
by Kailash Naidoo

Hi friends. Kailash here sharing a fun shaped card featuring the lovely Folk Fox Fancy Die. I started with preparing an A2 sized card by using a Hero Hues Dove White Side Folded Card. I then die cut the Folk Fox Fancy Die from a scrap piece of paper. I used this die cut piece to trace the shape of the fox onto the card base with a pencil by placing  the die cut on the left side towards the edge on the fold. This will allow the card to open. I fussy cut along the pencil lines of the fox shape and set aside. As the Folk Fox Die Cut is so intricate and delicate I wanted a dark colored ..read more

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a collection of cards featuring the new Color Layering Folk Art Stencils set. I had so much fun switching up the colors to get three completely different vibes! This stencil set includes three easy-to-layer stencils and each layer is numbered for easy reference. For my first variation, I used Orchid and Grape Juice inks for Layer 1. I used a blending brush to apply Orchid over the entire stencil and then blended a bit of  Grape Juice to add some deeper purple shading to the flowers. For Layer 2, I used ..read more

Hero Arts
by Lydia Fiedler

Hi friends! Lydia here with a fun and simple way to custom dye your Hero Paste that will have you obsessing over custom color combos, I promise.  Hero has 57 Core Inkers for you to work with – so imagine how many unique combinations there are. Someone needs to do the math – but it is in the millions for sure.  I love to work with primaries, so for my Hero Paste experiment, I chose these reinkers: Ultra Pink, Summer Sky and Lemon Yellow.  Here's what I recommend doing as setup before you colorize your pastes. Grab your white Hero Paste (or glitter or pearl), a Hero Palette ..read more
