I'm trying to emulate a mouse using the arduino uno r4 wifi. Using tutorials on the web (ie https://anhnguyen.me/2014/01/turn-arduino-uno-r3-into-a-mouse/), it seems like I have to flash firmware ATmega16U2.
Doing so apparently requires a libusb driver. After installing this driver, I should either use dfu-programmer or something similar (ie atmel flip) to flash the firmware. After that, mouse emulation code should work after a restart.
The issue is that I can't install the libusb driver. I go to the Device Manager > Ports (COM & LTP) > USB Serial Device (COM3) > update driver &g ..read more

Hey all. I have had an idea for awhile on something i wanted to build but i really need some help. For starters, i have zero experience programming or using Arduino. I plan on hitting up the resources on this subreddit and looking through the tutorials and such but i wanted a baseline of where to start. What board i need, possibly a power supply i might need, and anything else you think i'm missing or need.
My idea is to have a themed "system" of sound/light/fog playing together but with modes for different themes. For example, I want to be able to push a button and activate "thunderstorm ..read more

Hi. Does anyone know a simple library and method to use the interrupt pin on the mpu6050? I've been struggling with it for a few days and all the stuff i've found online seems to complicated. I would also be fine with using a timer interrupt but I can't get that to work either. If it helps, the library I'm currently using is the mpu6050_tockn library. Thanks!

I wrote two codes, one used to read the humidity of the soil and the other used to water (activate) the pump in the case the soil is very dry. After uploading both codes, here's what I noticed:
- On the arduino card of the transmitter we notice the TX light flashing and the program is executed correctly.
- On the other hand, at the arduino of the receiver we see no signal and no information concerning the humidity of the soil is received. I wonder if the code or the connections. Can you help me please! ?

#include <RF24.h>
#include <nRF24L01.h>

So, i have 2 esp32 based boards

i also have a "sabvoton ebike controller". I don't think it really matters what this is, let's think of it as a black box that's supposed to understand modbus protocol.
Now, to each of the afformentioned boards i upload the same exact code, through arduino IDE

The first board works, it gets the answer from sabvoton and blinks it's LED to ..read more

I am a novice when it comes to electrical / mechanical engineering and am hoping that someone will be able to help!
I'm trying to create a weight sensitive dog bowl, that when water is drank, a treat is dispensed. Here are the components I am planning to buy:
MG995 360 Degree Continuous Rotation Metal Gear Digital Servo
Load Cell Resistive Membrane Pressure Sensor Module Flexible Force Sensitive Analog FSR402
Arduino UNO R4 Minima
Component-wise, I believe that is all I would need. In theory, I'll connect the servo and the pressure sensor to the Arduino and after figuring out the code, can ..read more

Found this solar module on the ground a couple of days ago. I tried to look up documentation, but couldn’t find anything. Any idea on how to interface? Ideally would like to use it with my ESP-8266 if possible.

Hi, I am new to coding with "C" for the Arduino Uno. I tried to create a battery status display using an LCD 1602 Module and an ultrasonic distance sensor with four pins for a gravitational energy storage model similar to the one in Edinburgh. This project aims to educate children about these types of batteries. As seen in the pictures, I connected the LCD Display for the 4-bit option. In the model, the weight reached its peak at a height of 15 cm. That's why I used 6.66 for the percentage calculations (Charge / 15 cm * 100%). Everything above the 15 cm mark should be shown as 100%. However ..read more
