Hi all, I appreciate all the feedback from my last post and have gone ahead and made edits as suggested to my previous resume. I will attach both the old and new resumes. Am I headed in the right direction with this? Have an interview next week, wish me luck. Any feedback is appreciated... Feel like I am about to burn out, appreciate all the help I can get.

I’m a rope access building maintenance expert, 15000+ hours in high rise window cleaning, caulking, post construction cleans etc. I’ve partnered with a lawyer who has helped me build out the back end of the company, work flows, contracts, employee management etc.
We are in our second year of operation and it’s become painfully obvious that our sales and marketing is trash and neither of us really know what to do about it.
I’ve worked for and seen companies with owners that have little knowledge on how the work is actually done, barely investing in their companies, grow to millions in revenue ..read more

Since most of you claimed that the analytical side of marketing (data analytics, SEO) pays more than the creative side (social media, content creation), are there any courses that helped you learn analytics that impressed your employers?
What’s your experience on taking these? Since my university doesn’t offer data-driven courses, I’m on a self-study journey. Thanks!

So this question is for marketing leaders. As a freelancer, I work with multiple in-house content marketing managers from different companies. Two of the people from two very different companies got laid off in the span of the last few months -- both were replaced by ChatGPT. I am guessing the SEO person produces the prompts and publishes content now. I have also heard from other in-house resources that they are facing the threat of layoffs. So, my question is for the marketing managers here. Does replacing your content marketing manager with AI really work in terms of results? Did you get im ..read more

I do marketing for a home services company with monthly subscription agreements. We currently offer $50 off a customer's next service bill if they refer a friend.
I have a marketing CRM that has an API and integrated workflow for customers who leave us a review. I want to auto-send customers who give us a great review an email with an easy way to refer a friend.
Any suggestions on the best way to set that up? Email a link to a landing page or form? Curious to hear any ideas that you've all used. Thanks!

Lead Generation in B2B is just Sales Disguised as "Marketing"

Hi all! I’m having a bit of a conundrum and unsure of how to approach this. We are an agency with founders in two different states, opposite sides of the US, and would like to target our local communities in addition to our remote/online customers.
What approach makes the most sense for something like this? I was considering just keeping our current website and building targeted landing pages for each specific city we want to focus on, or maybe setting up DBAs under localized names like (for example) “NY Web Design” and setting up a “nywebdesign.com” domain that basically displays what would ..read more

What do you guys think of this picture for my product? Is it attractive? If you see on an ad will you press the button to buy? It's a toothpaste tablet.
