Blogpost by Max Maycroft, Sexual Health Outreach Worker Marc Thompson is an activist, and health promotion specialist, who has been involved in HIV activism since the 1980s, working to address the lack of services available with a focus on Black gay men. He is a co-founder of PrEPster, BLKOUT and co-director of The Love Tank CIC, and through his work with PrEPster, pushed for PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis – a drug that reduces the risk of getting HIV in HIV-negative people) to be made available on the NHS. You can call the booking number – 0121 371 8445 – and, following triage to see if you meet the criteria for vaccination, will have your details taken ahead of the next tranche of vaccine supply in September. Key facts –  There have been a number of confirmed cases of monkeypox in the UK. Exciting opportunity to create 3 new artworks inspired by queer spaces! We are looking for participants to work with artist Lucy Hayhoe & Birmingham LGBT over two weekends in July to explore ideas around queer space and reimagine queer spaces of the future.
