It’s with a sad heart that I decided the time has come to place the blog into early retirement. It’s been a while since I visited my vintage review series, but it holds a soft spot for me as I’ve aimed the reviews at sets I personally owned as a child. It’s a journey that helped kickstart AATB and is slowly progressing through the various stages and themes I was engaged with as a kid. I was just about to call it a night (wrote three blogs this evening – Jurassic World, LEGO Ideas Stitch and The return of Harry Potter) when LEGO went and dropped the official announcement of the much rumoured The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) looks like another cup of coffee is in order! A few weeks back we finally got confirmation that LEGO was going to do a dedicated wave of LEGO sets as part of the up and coming Jurassic World sequel – Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. For those that don’t care or may be living under a rock, Disney are a few months off releasing their second non-jedi focused Star Wars movie called “Solo”. The premise to chronicle Hans Solo’s (also Chewbacca and the legendary Millennium Falcon) early life before Star Wars Episode IV. It’s ironic that I was sitting with my morning coffee today having a discussion with my wife about buying some new summer T-shirts.
