I have had this kinda line on my toenail for over a month now, nearly 2 months.. no trauma that i recall for it, I had my GP check it out and he said he doesnt think so and if it stays for over 3 months then check again! but something seems off.. my partner is worried about it more than i am and thats making me more anxious haha. My nail hasnt shown any changes in thickness, brittlness, smell, colour ect.. nothing that makes me think fungal infection plus it hasnt spread although it looks darker than it was when i first noticed. Its under the skin for sure not the actual nail.. im tempted ..read more

Mole that got lighter with time

Hello all, I have a mole on my chest that I have had for as long as I remember. But I noticed that it looks lighter and with blurrier edges compared to how it used to look. I don't know if that is normal due to skin stretching or if I should be concerned. It is rounded and about 4 to 5 mm in diameter, and become very pale. It used to be brown, now it's almost the same tone as the rest of the skin. Could this be melanoma? The change has been very gradual over more than 10 years submitted by /u/Low_Knowledge_8395 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Melanoma or sun spots?

Fair skin and had this for almost a year on my forehead, thinking it was a sunspot (naively) until it just occurred to me it could be melanoma. Now I’m panicking and it’s going to be over a month until I can get into the derm. Does it look like melanoma? 29, F submitted by /u/Primary-Ad-3418 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Not really sure if this mole has always been there or not but I think I noticed it a couple years back. I just think it was as big. I feel like it looks like it’s “spreading”. Worth getting checked out? submitted by /u/Feeling-Read5553 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Freaking out because it’s scabby and I downloaded an AI app that scans thousands of moles and is decently good at checking some people say submitted by /u/ResidentAvailable499 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
