Another rare trip out for MJAYPHOTOGRAPHY this weekend 20-2-21 again to Ascot for the well named Ascot chase day, five races were watched for the runners coming and going to the races.
With no further ado lets get into the 1st race a 2m 3f Novices hurdle won by Midnight River 5/4 Fav for Dan Skelton and ridden by Harry Skelton.

Race 2 The Grade II Reynoldstown novices chase was taken by the David Pipe trained and Tom Scudamore ridden Remastered at 9/2.

A trip out through this lockdown pandemic for MJAYPHOTOGRAPHY, the same position as I had during summer lockdown for my Royal Ascot blogs I went back to Ascot for an exciting national hunt chase fixture The Clarence House chase day.
Six races full of horses going 'to and fro' to the course so here goes
The 1st race a juvenile hurdle won by 5/4 fav TETRONIC from Alan Kings yard ridden by Adrian Heskin.

At the Start for the 4&5 YO maiden at Barbury 13-12-20
My first photo blog from point to pointing this 2020-21 season, with the season on a stop and start opening it was great to get out with the Go Pointing crowd.
though all socially distanced and no paying public i got to take images in the driving rain for 10 races with 116 horses declared, I'm told a record at Barbury.
So here we go

Another superb trip to the Royal Berkshire racecourse of Ascot this time on the first day of the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth meeting.
Nine races on the card and with heavy rain coming in 7 out of the 9 were recorded by WWW.MJAYPHOTOGRAPHY.CO.UK

The start of day on day 3 of the Lock down Royal Ascot was not a great one we had heavy rain overnight and in the morning. Social media went down (and still is ) so was unable to get some of my photography posts out, more rain and downloading the final race images when i got home they all went blank.... Did i mention the rain?
Thank the lord for the Ascot Gold cup and Stradivarius running despite the going and winning decisively so here are a few of the raced winners and runners of the day.

With our worldwide lockdown this year a lot of top international show as well as the smaller local shows have been cancelled, but with the wonders of technology that not only have people been still being able to make virtual contact with each other also some shows have been able to go ahead.

With uncertain times ahead we head off to High Easter near Chelmsford, a good crowd gathered and all pointing followers hoping the rumours that racing would be suspended and the point to point season closed for the season were just hearsay.
