On Tuesday, October 3rd, the INTERDEM Academy Masterclass took place. This collaborative event with HOMEDEM focused on connecting and designing for people with dementia. The day kicked off at 9:30 am, at the LUCA campus in Genk, with a warm welcome from Niels Hendriks and a short introduction to INTERDEM from Fania Dassen. SPREAD+ is a Dutch consortium funded by Alzheimer Nederland and Health Holland. Dutch JAIN Challenge 2023 and new challenge 2024

In June, the Dutch national JAIN challenge reached its finals with the announcements of the winners in the category of the prototypes and products. This was made possible by INTERDEM members from the taskforce Assistive Technology, of whom six were part of the jury, see here. From the applications, thirteen made it to the competition and these applications were all reviewed by three assessors and after that the top three were reviewed by persons with dementia and informal caregivers. IPA Conference in Lisbon: A Long-Awaited Gathering to Foster Change in Dementia Care

The IPA conference in Lisbon finally took place after a four-year delay, bringing together over 600 participants to discuss the latest developments in dementia care. Day 1 Before the start of the conference, several pre-conference workshops were organized.
