The 2021 Virtual World Parkinson Congress is scheduled for May 17-21, 2021. The agenda includes a wide range of topics and will be open to all Parkinson’s stakeholders. Registration for this five-day event opens on April 1, 2021 and there is a $25 fee to attend. Click the link below to learn more.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville and UAB have received a grant for a home-based exercise program for persons with Parkinson’s and are currently recruiting eligible candidates to participate.
The Guidelines for Exercise Training in Underactive Parkinson’s, or GET UP, is an exercise program designed to assist PD patients through home-based aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises. The program includes one-on-one conversations to guide PD patients through the program. The guided exercise experience will last 16 weeks. We’re Bringing the Tour de Fox to Birmingham through the 2020 Team Rowland Ride! This socially distanced bike ride will take place at Oak Mountain State Park on October 3rd to benefit Parkinson’s research and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. We would love for you to join us!
