It is only seven or so weeks in to 2024 and we have been exceptionally lucky to have a stunning pair of fresh portraits go up in our hometown by Salvadoran born, but London based artist Abraham.O. Certainly one of London’s most prolific and proactive artists of current. Abraham’s works are always striking and these recent additions to SE20 are no exception. Taking to two brand new spots about SE20 Abraham.O painted two female subjects, with one portrait being solely black and white, and one being infused with a wealth of accompanying colour, and both being masterfully executed. We would like t ..read more

A month or so back saw graffiti writers Skewer and Last take to Crystal Palace to paint the first town spot for our community endeavors in 2024. Presenting a fantastic fun work – who doesn’t love dinosaurs? We have a harmonious collaboration of each artist’s respective styles, with Last painting the Stegosaurus on the left and Skewer painting the accompanying Triceratops skull on the right, both set in a lush cascading valley setting. Not only is the work so much fun, it is a superb addition for the area, something which was not lost on the locals, as just a stones throw away are the iconic Cr ..read more

Whilst up Brick Lane a couple of weekends back to see some of the first additions to London’s streets of 2024, we were rather lucky to catch a stunning portrait by Salvadoran born, but London based artist Abraham.O. Certainly one of London’s most prolific and proactive artists of current, we have already been treated to three new works from him this year and he hasn’t even painted in our corner of the city yet for 2024. Abraham’s works are always striking and this recent addition to Brick Lane is no exception, with the light play in this portrait bringing the piece to life with such beautiful ..read more

For this blog post we are taking a look at a recent artwork placed up just a couple of weeks ago by graffiti writer Only up Brick Lane way. Only’s work is always so detailed and meticulously executed, presenting a masterful fusion between 3D graffiti and intricate realistic subjects and scenery. Over the last three or so years Only has certainly proved himself as an expert at his use of perspective and light play. His works really have to be seen in person to fully appreciate the incredible effect he generates in his art – that isn’t to say they don’t look incredible in a photograph also, whic ..read more

London Calling Blog
by londoncallin2015

A couple of weekends back saw regular collaborators DRT and ManyFaces take to Shoreditch to hit up a number of works fusing their respective styles to fantastic effect. The works see DRT’s colourful abstract creations which resemble fractured stained glass panels, with ManyFaces’ fun and goofy illustrative characters. It is always a pleasure to spy a harmonious blend of disparate styles and these recent works are no exception. We managed to find four of their collabs, but we are pretty sure there was probably some more that we didn’t catch. Work in Curtain Road, Shoreditch. Work in Braithwa ..read more

The other day whilst up town we took a little detour to Leake Street where among the constant turnover of new pieces we were fortunate enough to catch two fresh works from Slae, someone it is fair to say is probably currently London’s most prolific graffiti writer and street artist – you will be hard pushed to not see work of his in Leake Street if you pass there at any point. Of the two works below we have two realistic portraits from Slae, including one collaboration with graffiti writer Beatfox. It is impressive to see how Slae is constantly honing his skills and upping his game, this is ac ..read more

For our first venture about town to see some fresh street art and graffiti around London in 2024 we passed through Leake Street, where we lucky enough to come across a pair of excellent portraits from Abraham.O. It is always a pleasure to spy works from this incredibly talented artist, and he has certainly been active of late. It is also very interesting to see the different dynamics Abraham.O can inject into his grey scale realism portraiture. It is interesting to note in these two pieces below the inclusion of several different colours aside his grey-scale focus. Work depicting London ..read more

For our next round up of 2023 blog post we are taking a look at what we have seen one our visits to Stockwell over the last year. Virtually all of the fantastic pieces we are sharing below are from the Stockwell Hall of Fame, which continues in our view to offer the premier legal walls in London to paint with a constant turnover of high quality graffiti to be seen most days.
