Hi all Got a 2.9kg boneless lamb shoulder for Easter tomorrow. Was thinking of doing a 12 hour cook, but can only see recipes for bone in. Just wondering if I can cook it at 100 degrees C for 12 hours and it will be ok despite it not being bone in? Woolworths own brand: 72% chicken - $10 - 15.8% protein, 8.5% fat Coles own brand: 66% chicken (not available) - $10 - 13.4% protein, 12.9% fat Coles Family Fave's: 36% chicken - $10 - 13.7% protein, 10.4% fat From what I can tell 'Family Fave's' are replacing Coles own brand, as they are out of stock whenever I checked. I've been getting the Woolworth brand for a while. To save energy and time, I cook half the pack (approx. 10-11 pieces) at once, and then freeze. 15 secs each side in the microwave straight from the freezer per piece, and then 2 minutes at 200C in the fan forced small oven to ..read more

Freezer Chicken Tenders with actual CHICKEN in them? Please? I can't stand the faux stuff...

Every tender I eat is basically just a badly battered nutrient tube, and I just want something frozen with actual chicken inside it, is there ANYWHERE that sells this in australia? I mean something where the meat is actually a grain, rather than a just kind of weirdly bubbly white mass. Southern fried would be fave, but anything that actually has real chicken would be great. submitted by /u/mewthulhu [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi everyone. Everytime I try to make garlic prawns it is never garlicky enough. Tonight I put in six crushed cloves. Would it have more flavour if I chopped the garlic? Tia. Edit I meant creamy garlic prawns submitted by /u/Ali_Liz_1991 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
