Hi yall All is in the title I'm looking for good Japanese greens, mainly Kabuse, Fukamushi and maybe 2024 Gyokuros but those are likely not available yet. Yoshi En has a 24 Ichibancha i'm kind of eyeing, okay ish price, but i had never heard of them until recently, i wonder if they're any good. Specifically looking for vendors that sell or ship to France/EU submitted by /u/Wenndo [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Opinion on Palais des thés? [FR]

I'm based in France but I know they ship intl and have stores in the EU, so maybe they're sort of known outside of FR. I'm definitely a novice, but they seem to have a wide selection of "Grands Crus" [selected rare harvests could be a translation] from diverse places like Georgia, a lot of good Nepal blacks and accessible prices. I've tried their Si Ji Chun Oolong which is a Taiwan Gao Shan Cha, absolutely blown away. Now looking to try some Pu Erhs (i dont have the budget for Shengs yet) and Dan Congs if i can, wondering if anybody knows where to find good entry to mid level references in Fr ..read more

Im currently battling a hell of a cold and it’s got my throat feeling real raw. I know tea with honey is helpful with sore throats, but I’m not a tea person, so I don’t know what to do here. submitted by /u/dumb-_-bitxh [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Mengding Ganlu Green Tea before Qingming Festival. Last month, I recorded the process of harvesting and making Mengding Ganlu Green tea. Every year at this time, watching the tender tea leaves being gently handled by the workers always brings a sense of inexplicable relaxation.

Wine lover trying to get into tea

I am a wine lover. I know the ins and outs of wine characteristics and regions. I have favorites and know specifically why a wine tastes a certain way. I’m afraid I’m drinking too much alcohol. I also love black tea. I want to see if there are ways to get into black tea like wine: different regions and tea making styles creating different flavors in the same tea variety. Where do I start? How do I learn about black tea regions and styles? submitted by /u/DryRaspberry9838 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
