If you have dedicated your time and money investing in top notch equipment to capture images you should also make sure to have a high-quality monitor that accurately displays colors, details, and tones ensuring precise editing, reliable color grading, and faithful representation of your final work. This summer I received BenQ SW272U the latest in BenQ’s series of monitors for photographers. Another monitor was also released at the same time, the SW272Q, and the main difference between them is that the SW272U has 4k whereas the SW272Q has 2k and also that the SW272U supports HLG. Until now I ha ..read more

Saffron buns, or lussekatter as they are called in Swedish is a soft, sweet wheat bun seasoned with saffron that gives it its beautiful golden color and flavor. Its normally baked in Christmas-time and always for the Luciadagen, the St Lucia Day that is celebrated on December 13th. To make these I used a kitchen assistant but you can definately skip it and simply knead the dough with your hands, it will just take a bit longer time. Saffron buns, Lussekatter in Swedish (approx 32 saffronbuns) Ingredients: Instructions: If you make these please let me know in the comments :-) The post Saffron bu ..read more

Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is probably one of Italy’s most famous cheese. With a history that dates back 900 years it is still made the same way using the same ingredients as in the Middle Ages. History of Parmigiano Reggiano The recipe of the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese was created by monks centuries ago. Using raw milk from their dairies and salt they managed to produce a cheese with a long p ..read more

Chocolate Chestnut Cake, Fondant au chocolat et à la crème de marrons as it’s called in French, is one of the French cakes I fell in love with when I moved to France many years ago. Chocolate and chestnut cream goes very well together and this cake is very similar to the classic Fondant au chocolate (Chocolate Mud Cake) but with a chestnut cream twist. Its very easy to make, you don’t need many ingredients and its also gluten-free so more people can enjoy it :-) If you don’t know what to make for dessert when inviting friends for dinner, try this cake, I promise you won’t regret it.
