The San Diego Ballet Outreach program serves City Heights with free weekly dance classes for children and adults! Not only do students of all ages enjoy the year round program but they can also participate in local festivals and a summer dance camp! Our classes provide quality dance education in a positive atmosphere where students can make friends and build connections with the community. She started dancing at the age of five in “New ballet Studio” a small ballet school in Puebla, Mexico. She was a competition dancer since the age of fourteen. She and her group won a pass to the finals to the YAGP 2019 and 2021 on the category of “ensembles” in 2020 they could not go to the finals in New York due to COVID, but they won 1st place with that ensemble in the competition of VKIBC Mexico (Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition) but two years later (2022) they were able to go to the finals in Tampa, Florida. Vanessa Schroeder began dancing at Coronado Community Center at age three and joined San Diego Ballet School when she was ten years old under the direction of Robin Sherertz-Morgan. She has trained in multiple technical methods including Balanchine, Vaganova, and French technique. Since joining SDBS, Vanessa has also trained in the styles of jazz, contemporary, modern, and tap. Rylaigh Lord was born and raised in San Diego, beginning her ballet training at the Coronado Academy of Dance and San Diego Civic Youth Ballet before joining San Diego Ballet school under Robin Sheretz-Morgan. Saffron joined San Diego Ballet in 2023 as a trainee.  She attended the Philippines premiere dance company Ballet Philippines as a child and performed in Peter Pan, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
