Hello, after missing a design last week I'm back with a lavender landscape design to share with you! I've always loved the beautiful colours of fields of lavender and this week I finally tackled painting one! It was definitely a bit of a challenge, but I so enjoyed it! I do like the finished result but I'm not sure how much like lavender fields they look like, it's only the purple that really shows it haha! As ever it is all hand painted by me with acrylic paint and a little tiny brush! Next week I'm going away so there probably won't be a new design then either, I'm beco ..read more

Rose Floral Border Nails

Hello everyone! Today feels so Spring like which is lovely and appropriate fort the nails I'm sharing with you! Rose floral nails! I've seen so many similar designs like this and always thought they were too pretty and girly for me but I finally tried it and I just adore it! I love the shimmery polish base colour which is Barry M's 'Mediterranean' and I thought it goes perfectly with the floral border! I think the border gives it just the right amount of floral pattern so it doesn't completely overwhelm it! The floral pattern is hand painted using acrylic p ..read more

Hello everyone! For a few days last week we actually had some beautiful Spring weather! Also I've seen endless daffodils around and so this nail design was inspired! Seeing the daffodils about  at this time of year always coincides with my hayfever appearing! :( But I do love the colours that Spring brings with it, along with my hayfever! About half way through this design I became sort of gave up on it as I thought it wasn't working out, but I think from a distance they do look ok haha! As always it is hand painted by me with acrylic paint! Thanks for reading, h ..read more

Hello everyone and Happy Easter! This week of course I had to do some cute Easter bunny and little chick nails! I genuinely can't believe it is already Easter weekend! Where has this year gone? After really loving last year's bunny nails and the year before doing chick busting out of egg nails this year I chose to combine both in one design and I really love it! Easter designs are always such fun as pastel colours are my favourites to work with and I always love the results! As ever it is all hand painted by me using acrylic paint! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Thanks ..read more

Galaxy Nails

Hello everyone, this week I just had to do a nail design in honour of Stephen Hawking who sadly died earlier this week, and so I've painted some galaxy nails. I had planned to do some nails inspired by St. Patrick's Day as I love all things Irish but I felt this was more appropriate. Before I started this design I looked back at my old designs to find the last galaxy design I painted; I can't believe it was 3 years ago when I did galaxy nails for the film The Theory of Everything!  I think I prefer the galaxy pattern I did that time, but I love the addition of this quote f ..read more

Spring Daisy Nails

It's the middle of March now so I'm sharing my first Spring nail art design!  Daisy nails are a must every year!  Such a cute and simple design; the classics are always the best! The background polish I used, Barry M's 'Greenberry' is one of my all time favourite shades, I just love the bluey/green! I really didn't spend a lot of time painting these - unlike most of my deigns! So that is another reason why they're a personal favourite! Is it too early for Spring designs?  Let me know what you think! Thanks for reading ..read more

Frozen Lake Winter Landscape Nails

Hello everyone! Of  course this week my nails were inspired by the snowmageddon we had in the UK this week and I've done a frozen/snowy landscape nail design! It felt a bit weird painting a Wintery scene in March but it was definitely appropriate with such freezing weather outside! I'm glad I got another chance to do some wintery nails! I really enjoyed painting this frozen scene, the colours are just so pretty! I did however struggle capturing the colours in the photos with the light, they are more vibrant and bright in real life! :( As ever it is all comple ..read more

Hello! This week  I've got another simple design to show you! It's no secret that blue is my favourite colour, so these are the dream nails for me! This is another easy design to paint that looks more complicated and difficult, it's definitely one of my favourites! As long as the lines are painted straight and equal it looks so effective! I love all the different shades of blue in this design, I can't stop looking at my hands! ? As ever it is hand painted by me on my natural nails, using acrylic paint!  Thanks for reading, hope you like them ..read more

Simple Red And Black Design Nail Art

Hello everyone! Yet again I've redone a design I first painted a few years ago! I think as I'm getting older I'm getting less imaginative! ? It was first inspired by a dress I own and it was a really popular design! You can see the original here!  This time I chose a brighter red for the background colour, OPI's 'I Got The Mean Reds'. The design is then hand painted with black acrylic paint!  As before it looks really complicated but it is so simple and quick to paint! I drew out the design on paper first and then it's just a case of copying onto each nail! Hopefully ..read more
