My team and I are working on a project to quantify clutch performance in the NBA by analyzing play-by-play data from close games. We’re trying to determine which players perform best during the last five minutes of a game while the score difference is within 6 points. In order to create a fair scoring system for a "clutch score" we assigned weights to key actions. The weights are based off the expected win percentage added (eWPA) by each action.
