Today’s lesson is about certain nouns that take the prepositional case in -у.   Some masculine nouns, mostly one syllable nouns, take the ending -у in the prepositional case after the prepositions в and на. For example, in the forest – в лесу (лес becomes лесу) Я живу в лесу. – I live in the forest. Where? In the forest.
