My exposure to Mongolian wok concept goes back to late 90s during my short stint at Detroit USA. Similar concept was later got available here in Pune at the Oriental restaurant located at level-5 of E-Square University Road.  The place has changed hands in the past and now it is with The Fern Pune. Mongolian Wok concept remains and the Chefs are also same. Updated menu with street food preparations of South-East Asian cuisines. Wok-tossed and stir-fried items made using meat , poultry , sea food , vegetables; Sushi , dumplings , noodles , rice and much more… Also the Wok (which allow ..read more

Good quality tasteful pizzas!!! Tried Circle of Crust a few times in the past (usually veg). Nice base , good quality cheese (not mayonnaise or something else) , crunchy veg toppings ,  very nice taste indeed. I found them better and with more value against those popular multinational chains. They also have garlic breads, chicken wings, lasagna, nuggets, fries, desserts and carbonated beverages.  They also serve Artisanal Pizzas with different crusts. Worth mentioning: Their BOGO offer is very good ..read more

Kodo crop is hardy and it can sustain rough weather (heat/low water). It can grow in fields which are not very fertile. As remember; it used to be important part of food at rural central India in recent past. It is visible these days as well but not like earlier. I remember having a homemade alcoholic beverage called PAGE long ago which was made by local Gond farmer by fermenting Kodo and Buttermilk. Kodo millet can replace rice / wheat in food easily. It is much more nutritious against wheat or rice. It has about 9-10% protein by weight. It has very high fiber content and it can help fight f ..read more

Little millet or Kutaki is also known as Vari / Samai / Same in different parts of India. It has very small grain size. It was popular at Indian Cow Belt or central India villages with tribe dominance. It is said to have balanced amino acid profile than other grains. Little millet is rich in iron. It is also an excellent source of carotene and zinc. Nighauna / Nimona is wet stew type preparation made using green peas or green grams. It is decent no frills type place for nonveg loving people (family friendly). I have tried food hear multiple times during lunch / dinner and always found them consistent. Thalis are good and fulfilling (both chicken and mutton). Mutton / Chicken alani, masala, rassa, thecha, fry are very tasteful. Their mutton spicy khima is one of the bests in Pune. Rassa and gravy are more like Kolhapur home cooked style. I prefer mutton here because it is goat always fresh free from smell and tender. Their food is masaledar with little high on heat (chilli). Bhakhris (millet flat bread of both jowar ..read more
