Good evening, felinity assembled!
Elvira Mistress of Felinity, here!
I turn all of 11 years old on the 15th...can you believe it?
Where have all the years gone?
Thinking about that, this evening, is what led to this story.
The Day 6 Flash Fiction February Prompt at Writer's Digest? ( Miss the start of this series? #1 )
Write something absurdist.
Well, I think my story is absurd! I mean, look, the idea that we felines live nine lives is a made up human fairy tale to amuse the kids, or something.
Absurd! Right? Has to be...I mean, I've only lived the one so far!

Good afternoon, Felinity Assembled...anyone out there? Anyone miss me?
Friday the Bearded Lady, here, and I want to apologize
My last posts were 3 poems in April 2019.
And before that? Well, it's too depressing to get into.
Watching Elvira, the other day, I wanted to return to action, too. (The series begins on the blog of Daddy Kiril)
The Day 5 Flash Fiction February Prompt from the Human writing them at Writer's Digest?
Write about a couple.
I thought about it a bit and, remembering Elvira telling me about some of the Dogs and Cats in his life, before Mr. Nikita, I could turn ..read more

Good morning, Felinity Assembled...anyone out there? Anyone miss me?
Sneakers the Texian Tuxedo, here, and I want to apologize.
It has been New Year's Eve 2018 since my last blog post, and before that it was June.
Watching Elvira, yesterday, I wanted to return to action, too.
The Day 3 Flash Fiction February Prompt from the Human writing them at Writer's Digest?
Write a story that incorporates the color red.
I thought about it a bit, after breakfast and, after wandering thru the archives of this blog, decided an update to a pair of stories from our founder, Mr. Nikita, was doable ..read more

Good afternoon, Felinity Assembled...anyone out there? Anyone miss us?
Elvira Mistress of Felinity, here, and I want to apologize.
It has been April of last year since our last blog post.
The last comments were left to our posts of that month.
At the time Daddy Kiril was recovering from being run over by a motorist while in a crosswalk, and Sneakers, Friday, and I were doing our part to nurse him back to health.
We take pride in how good we are with this responsibility!
He returned to work in May, as well as slowly beginning to write more, in the process, especially by May.
So why noth ..read more

Good afternoon, Felinity Assembled...anyone out there? Anyone miss us?
Elvira Mistress of Felinity, here, and I want to apologize.
Has it been almost a year, this month, since our last blog post?
The last comments were left in July, October, and November.
I am sorry that we did not finish the 2019 Poetry a Day Challenge, ending at Day 11.
What excuse do I have?
I have plenty, but feel guilty using all of them...except the last one.
We got pre-occupied encouraging Daddy Kiril as HE completed the PAD Challenge.
After that Daddy Kiril took a month off...and promptly went BACK into the creative f ..read more

Good afternoon, felinity assembled!
Daddy Kiril, here.
Welcome to Day 11 of the Poetry A Day Challenge by Robert Lee Brewer, of the wonderful Poetic Asides Blog, at Writer's Digest.
As he explains in his post...
"Write a dedication poem. This is a poem dedicated to a person, an animal, or an organization. Or hey, objects work too–like a poem to a rock or paper bag. Put the dedication in the title or in a line under the title (“for Mother” or “to the heart-shaped rock between the creek and the tulips”).
Remember: These prompts are just springboards; you have the freedom to jump in any directio ..read more
