A sleeping bag that can be plugged in for cooling and heating

I would like to know if you bring outdoor power supplies when glamping? And, does the camping site you have chosen have AC power supply? If carried or supplied, what do you think of a mattress or sleeping bag that can be plugged in for cooling and heating? Its power consumption is about 100-200W or maybe more, but it will definitely be lower than the A/C, and it doesn't have the noise of a compressor. You can breathe fresh outdoor air and listen to the sounds of nature. I started camping last year. Recently, I was awakened by the heat during the camping process, which made me very restless an ..read more

Generator Noise

Is it rude to ask someone to turn off their generator? This guy ran his generator for 4 hours straight, half the time not even in the campspot, out at the beach. Clearly not using it for any high amp AC Power, just charging his DC batteries right at sunset when we're all trying to enjoy dinner and campfires. There are really cheap power stations now that run 20-30 amps to use microwave, hot water kettle, hair dryer etc. submitted by /u/toadster82 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi guys! It was my wife and I's first time glamping. Will definitely be coming back! The place is called Wild Skies. To whomever wants to watch the shenanigans we had, here's a video: https://youtu.be/LFPTEAmmMio We got to cook with an actual pizza oven they had built. Had some animals too! Dogs, chickens, lambs. My favorite part was when I had a shower outside. Birds were chirping, I could hear the trees dancing with the breeze, plus I was butt naked so I really felt one with nature! It was a fun time. submitted by /u/Carlo013 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello, I work at a Ren faire for 6 weekends a year and we have a large on-site tent city of sorts. I would like to make roughly 3 gallons on coffee for everyone. Anyone have a good solution for this? Preferably with propane and not generator. submitted by /u/GenericName375 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Portable or Deliverable “Glamping” gear

Hi, I don’t know how to phrase it to search the sub. We’ll be visiting my brother in Redmond, WA this summer and are possibly looking for a temporary outdoor “camping” situation. Is there something that rent and have delivered to my brother’s house? He has about an acre of land. We are just trying to find a way to add additional living spaces for a week while we’re there. Otherwise we will get a hotel. We were hoping to not have to drive and leave every night, since we all like being together. Thank you! submitted by /u/wmm09 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Looking at the Bluetti AC70 and AC180 right now but am looking for other suggestions. I’d rather pay a little more and buy once vs save and have a less quality item. Any suggestions or other brands I should consider would be greatly appreciated! submitted by /u/MrRoboto01 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’ve tent camped before but I just splurged and got a propane fire pit, two burner stove, Stanley base camp cook set, some LED string lights and Flex Tail Tiny 2X pump. Trying it all out in the backyard with the kids tonight and it’s only 25deg! I feel like a kid again! submitted by /u/MrRoboto01 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
