The Light Heather Crochet Coasters is a beginner friendly project. A few weeks ago I shared the first coasters I made on YouTube and though to share a free pattern here with you as well. They are so quick to crochet and make such a fun gift. I just can’t stop making them. The pattern I share here today goes along with a video tutorial for the Puff stitch. So, you’ll have everything you need to know to crochet these simple coasters in any size you like. We needed coasters I’ve been trying hard to keep our home, especially the kitchen, well organized. I really like it when everything has a dedic ..read more

I knit scrappy stripy socks
CrochetObjet

Over the past week I knit this pair of scrappy stripy socks. I shared my joyful making in this week’s episode on YouTube and thought I would also share it here with you today. I knitted it mostly as my morning knitting with the first coffee of the day. And took pictures of my WIP everyday because I thought I might want to share it here with you. Also I thought it will be nice to have this scrappy stripy project documented on my little blog corner.   ≡ After my Green Drawer announcement last week I found myself packing and packing your colorful cotton orders. The GREEN drawer announcement
CrochetObjet
by Mo Malron

Earlier this week I posted this picture on IG grid and on my FB page. I shared the Green drawer announcement telling about my decision to stop selling my Granny Kit cotton. I shared a few Green-drawer’ situation pictures in the past and they always received lots of love. Means many likes and comments (this is love today). So I decided to use it up again to get your attention. • I took this decision earlier last year out of many reasons but I think the first time I shared it publicly was on this episode. After sharing my announcement on social media this week, I realized that many of you just h ..read more

I wear a new pair of Cosy-Weekend-Socks and they keep my feet warm from the moment they were off the needles. I haven’t even weaved the yarn ends yet but I don’t really care. They are SO comfy and soft and I just don’t want to take them off my feet. This is the third pair of Cosy-Weekend-Socks that I knit for myself and it was a quick one, I cast-on January 8th and bind-off January 18th. This pair is slightly smaller than the pattern though, so I wanted to share the modifications I did with you. Just in case you would want to knit a pair as well.  The modifications I did on this pair Firs ..read more

I thought to skip this week

At first I thought it would be better to skip this week’s episode because I’ve been experiencing another level of stress and exhaustion. I had a few things that I wanted to share this week including a visit to a local yarn shop. But I was afraid I would not be able to sit in front of the camera with such a low level of energy. Eventually I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did because it was a lift me up episode. Thank you SO much for joining me there and giving me the opportunity to share what I’m going through these days. • The news about the girls and women captured in Gaza, by Ham ..read more

My obsession with yellow

At first it was the raglan sweater knitted in marling yellow yarns then a yellow sketchbook. It appears I’ve developed a slight obsession with yellow as of late. For some reason, I don’t feel the need to provide a rational explanation for this inexplicable trend. Instead, I simply enjoy observing the situation. My obsession with yellow I’m completely in love with my yellow raglan sweater. Every time I try it on, it makes my heart sing. I don’t remember when was the last time I had a yellow garment in my closet, but I simply can’t wait to finish it and start wearing it.   • Earlier th ..read more

Am I a minimalist?
CrochetObjet
by Mo Malron

Do I consider myself a minimalist? I’ve been asked this question a lot lately, especially after sharing my latest vlog. The answer to this question is No. BUT! At the same time I don’t like to accumulate stuff. I feel my best in an environment with some emptiness. It’s even challenging for me to think clearly when I am in a busy environment. The abundance of belongings and visual clutter significantly impacts my inner peace, and it has been this way for as long as I can remember myself. • For me, opening a drawer and finding it crammed with disorganized items is an added stress. This is why m ..read more
