I noticed that in a lot of Western cartoons, a lot of characters have black-colored eyes. Why is that? Is it that much harder to add color to the eyes? In a lot of anime they have actual eye colors, so why is it rare to see it in Western cartoons? (I'll post some images in the comments so that way you guys can get an idea of what I mean.
