A few snaps from The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League Designer Showcase. Each room was thoughtfully decorated designed and curated with a mix of historic and modern nods. Take a look and see which space is your favorite? 6 Montagu St is circa 1803, built by John Rudolph Switzer. Switzer was a saddler with a business on King Street. The 2 1/2 story house features a 2 story piazza over an arched brick foundation. While I loved the bright colors and thoughtful details throughout the home, I was drawn to the outdoor spaces like these porches overlooking a gorgeous magnolia tree. Can you ima ..read more

Evelyn. Hallie. William. Katherine Koonce. Cynthia Peak. Mike Hill. Today marks one year since the tragedies at The Covenant School. This school, students and families have remained close to my heart and I will continue to pray for them and help in any ways that I can. My children attend a school with a similar set up and I also teach a class there- I am stricken with the amount of times my thoughts go to the “what ifs”. One thing that will also stay with me is the way the Nashville community rallied during this time and con ..read more
