Just a quick heads up so you know where I stand:
I have come a long way in figuring myself out. I understand that the most successful people work hard consistently and do not need a source of motivation. From my understanding, they rather have a very deep meaning and reasoning in what they do and works seems to important to not do it. (Less of the time it is because they love every single day of work)
Now I have mapped out for myself what happens when I am productive/work hard and what happens when I do not. And these are really great reasons. I have seen both sides, being lazy brings me clos ..read more

I have a gaming laptop that I do work and also play games on. I feel like it negatively affects my productivity. It also is a little bulky and I've had it for a while so the battery life is getting. I have a 400 dollar budget for a lower end laptop. I'm really thinking about getting one, but I want to hear about other people's experiences. Should I get a 2nd work laptop? (And if so, it'd be great if there were some recommendations--only needs to be powerful enough to run browsers, but also Windows OS) Thank you!

It's a shame I can't put images here, but it has a dashboard that shows your time using the app, focus options and marking how long you want to stay in the app. Totally free and much better than the famous onesec.

Don’t know where to put this but thought someone here could help.
I just started a new job managing mainly managing relationships. My tasks involve managing multiple projects and events, scheduling appointments with people and my main goal is to keep external stakeholders connected with my company.
My problem is that I’m struggling to remember dates and projects, key stakeholders, key events etc. I’m not so used to managing so many things at once.
What’s people work flow and productivity hack, apps, etc that help you to manage all this?

Hey all, I’m in the middle of finishing the beta for my startup, Gertrude. We essentially use LLM’s on internal company data to give you access to this through AI assistants!
You can connect multiple apps on the platform: notion, slack, Gmail, docs, GitHub, etc. we then index this data and use it for search queries. You can then ask Gertrude a question— ie; what happened with our Slack partnership in 2016 and with Jane Doe? And Gertrude will find the relevant data, and use it in the context of an LLM.
I was wondering if anyone would be down to be an early beta user on the platform or if anyon ..read more

I'm reaching out because I'm feeling completely lost and overwhelmed by the challenges in my life. It seems like no matter what I do, nothing is working out, and I'm struggling to see a way forward. It's a difficult place to be in, and I could really use some support, advice, or even just a listening ear from those who understand.
Here's where I'm at:
1) I wake up every day feeling exhausted and restless, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to muster the energy to tackle even the simplest tasks. I have to commute by train to college which takes 2 hours to go. I don't feel like going to c ..read more

Maybe an obvious question but I’m pretty new. Is there a PM software that can add appts/meetings to your outlook calendar? I know some can add tasks but haven’t seen any that can add to your calendar.

Say you plan to finish three tasks for the day, which method is most productive:
Setting a maximum time for each task (timeboxing), moving to the next task even if not completed, OR
Prioritizing tasks and working on them in order, ensuring completion before moving to the next task?
