So post-Covid, there seems to have been a massive influx of new hockey stick companies (a lot of which have branded themselves as lifestyle stores as well as hockey). This year in particular there seems to be a lot of them promoting sponsorship and I was wondering: Why are there so many new hockey stick companies? Are all the sticks being made in the same factories as lots all have the same carbon content and bows and all say they are planting a tree for every sale? Looking for clarity on rules. Not been playing for that long, 3 seasons in a league. In those 3 years I have been charged into on two occasions. I would define charged into as I'm defending, attacker with ball rapidly changes direction and goes straight into me, I have no time to react. Both occasions umpire has given free hit to the person who has run into me. I understand you are not allowed to block someone physically but in these circumstances I've been going for the ball and they have simply ran straight into me, and I've then been penalised. Hey everyone, I joined my local Hockey club as a non playing member at the end of last summer, and have had an incredible welcome and encouragement in my recovery from surgery. I have worked hard to volunteer and support the hockey club during training and match days, and have been recognised during the club awards night. Now the season is just about wrapped up, I'm suffering a dip in my mood.
