Matt. 27:52–53 tells us of the opening of graves of Jerusalem with the resurrection of Jesus and of the undead rising and roaming the streets. It further claims the spirits talked with the living, but no account of what was said exists, (presumably "מוֹחַ" which is hebrew for "Brains").
So what are you all doing to celebrate Easter/Pasha this year. I would suggest stocking up on ammunition as a priority!

supposedly religion makes you moral. And yet.... Religious people are the worse when it comes to jail time
Why can't we judge the actions of the religious when they go around yelling praise the lord let us wipe out the sinners or Allah akbur or whatever dumb stupid shit.
If your religion is of peace its really bad at sending that message across.

Apparently Islam has a billion followers and "we are the fastest growing religion". But then when you... Suddenly Isis isn't real Islam. Taliban isn't real Islam.
Oh the Pakistani government isnt real Islam. When you criticize the attitudes if Muslims, these Muslims are not real Muslim or misrepresent Islam.
(This of course goes for Christianity too) there's supposedly a billion Christians but at the sane time they are all diverse and shouldn't be lumped together. Fair. But then you admit your religion cannot be the largest if you guys can't even agree on the real message . Lmao

ex-muslim here.
whenever there is a video about nature or space. something that is wonderful to see. I see muslims comments saying glory to allah. Or how can people not believe in allah despite seeing this amazing universe.
how ignorant and arrogant those people. to firstly claim a fictional idea about a god called allah. then make everything amazing belong to this imaginary idea and glorify him
This is extremely arrogant and ignorant. These people have no respect for truth-seeking attitude. for objectivity. I really do wonder how can they have any self-respect with this very flawed attitud ..read more

I remember a stat saying atheists overall know more about religion than the religious. many atheists are also ex. Ex Muslim ex christian etc.
And its so fucking stupid that they can't tell us what we should be studying or what we get wrong.
Am I wrong that infidels should die according to the Quran. That being apostate will lead to death? Screw the "oh we give them time to repent". It doesn't matter because it shouldn't even be a thing in the first place.
and the whole traitor thing is stupid. What secrets am I selling? Changing citizenship isn't a crime so why is changing religion? What harm ..read more

Just wild speculation based on confirmation bias. Before any facts are determined and even as anticipated facts are gathered and will confirm the true causes.

Firstly, sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my first language
Along my childhood my parents went from Catholic - that kind who go to church once in a year - to evangelicals. Initially I wasn't bothered about it, it was just my mother forcing me to go to church once in a while, however I started to be exposed to concepts like hell, demons, possessions and prophecies, - the worst of all for me - it wasn't through my mom, but by my aunts, who belong to a extremely fundamentalist and pentencostal denomination in my country. In this period my father also converted and attended my aunts' church ..read more

This is the top comment of a post on r/Christianity about someone asking how to stop a maturation addiction that I put through Google lens to copy and paste:
This is how the devil has held many children of God in bondage: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
There is a point in addiction where a demon gets involved. They attach themselves to the individual, bind them and nothing they do can set them free. They are stuck in a cycle of defeat. You will hate what you do each time you do it because there is a pure spirit in you reacting to the bad that you have ..read more

Christians live in this world of constantly being told to let themselves be walked all over and abused in the name of being a “good Christian”. Yes, this goes hand-in-hand with the victim complex, but I think it’s deeper than that. I grew up Christian. I deconverted as a teenager, and yeah, it was bad but I also pity my religious family. Because I know how I feel when im put in a situation where I’m defenseless, or have to bite my tongue. You start to hate yourself. So for a lot of Christians, the only times they can let off any steam and actually stick up for themselves is in the presence of ..read more
