A message to the Anglican Church of Canada: In the fall of 2024, I will complete thirty-nine years of ordained ministry in the Anglican Church of Canada. Although it had been my hope to continue until General Synod 2025, I will also reach our mandatory retirement age. I have therefore written to the Senior Metropolitan, Archbishop Anne Germond, to offer my resignation as of September 15, 2024. When I began ordained ministry, I had no idea of the adventures and privilege that lay ahead of me: serving as a deacon and priest in three parishes; in the national office in the Faith, Worship & Mi ..read more

Generation after generation, the gift of faith—that the love of God is stronger than death—has been shared and celebrated by Christian disciples. We are the inheritors of that faith, commissioned by baptism to live it and share it every day. We do that in our personal lives, in our parish communities, in our dioceses and across Canada through the work of the national church. Your gift will help the ministries of the national church carry out valuable work for Anglicans across the country ..read more

February 24 will mark the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the start of the war. In the past twenty-four months, the Ukrainian people have faced the destruction of their cities and towns, and they have mounted spirited resistance.
