The six gaming operator in Macau informed authorities they plan to install RFID tables in the coming months.
The decision comes as Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) urged the casino operators to update their monitoring systems on the gaming floor. A U.K. businessman with a mission aimed at sustainability in food and beverage service has developed a technology solution to eliminate paper or plastic cups.

Last week, Identiv announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to sell their physical security business (about 60 percent of the company’s fiscal 2023 revenue) to security solutions firm Vitaprotech.

Arm Targets Edge AI with NPU and IoT Reference Design
Technology company Arm has released a new neural processing unit (NPU) which the company is promoting as delivering four-times the performance of predecessor products. The new Arm Ethos-U85 is intended for Edge AI applications such as factory automation and commercial or smart home cameras.
