After 2 years of not travelling, I finally stepped out of Singapore border for the first time since COVID became a pandemic, and we went to JB! It's just a simple day trip but it's the closest I can experience with travel.  Since there was nothing much to do at the malls, we decided to check out the Shi-ba Cafe at Mount Austin which is almost popular for various cafes and eateries. Quite a few animal cafes have already closed down so this was the only dog cafe I could find which also has pretty good reviews on Google.  It is recommended to make a reservation in advance through their ..read more

As an online business owner, I understand the importance of having name cards, logo stickers and other useful business materials. Including business cards in orders gives you an edge in terms of creating opportunities and making connections. However, some companies require a large MOQ which many startup owners may not be able to commit to. Not to mention it's an ultimate frustration when the delivery is delayed.  OnTimePrint offers fast and affordable printing services starting with low quantities for business name cards, stickers, postcards, flyers, booklets and more. With tons ..read more

Not gonna lie, I am usually drawn to gimmicky food and drinks, but of course they have to taste good as well. Recently opened in Kinex Mall, Soul Coffee is one of the latest instagrammable whimsical cafes with immersive projection like underwater theme and seasons.  The misty entrance creates a mystical ambience and the vertical botanical landscape makes the place quite dreamy. If you are interested in gaining insights to your past, present and future, they also have tarot reading services.  There is a corner near the entrance with a crescent swing where you can take nice photos as ..read more

My TikTok video was viral because I was towed on bike

My Tiktok became viral because I was a lazy ass and had to be towed on a bicycle during our cycling trip to MBS from the east. I guess we had a really good laugh along the way and after the video blew up. But seriously, we both were 'dying' at the end of the journey. I think I really underestimated the distance and given that I haven't really done long distance cycling before, this was quite a killer for me.  Thankfully we bought a rope with us because I think I would never have made it that far. Along the way, some people were actually staring and some even laughed or made comments. T ..read more

Hiking 10KM at Macritchie Reservoir Treetop Walk

Macritchie Treetop Walk has been on my bucket list for quite some time and I could finally check this off the list! I had underestimated the distance and effort needed in order to get onto this treetop walk for a instagrammable photo though.  It's clear that I did not do enough research prior to getting on this hike, and I was in a completely wrong attire and shoes. Previously I visited parks in casual outfits or even dress with slippers. But thankfully I was able to complete the 10km hike without breaking my shoes apart.  Before the start of our hike, we saw so many monkeys around ..read more

Review | Mylo's | Pet-friendly Gelato Cafe @ Gardens By The Bay

I brought Kuro to Gardens by the Bay for an outing last month and visited a rather new pet-friendly gelato cafe around the corner called Mylo's Cafe, which was formerly occupied by Fennel Cafe Active Garden. This beautiful glasshouse cafe is a great spot to hang out with your pets after a tiring walk along the garden.  This spacious cafe features full-sized windows providing ample natural sunlight and gorgeous views. Although pets are only allowed outdoors, the space was fully sheltered and there were comfortable sofa seats, which saved me from the sweltering heat. If your dogs are tir ..read more

The Kettle Gourmet Review | Unique Flavours like Chilli Crab, Kaya Butter Toast, Fish Head Curry

I've always been a basic popcorn eater, in other words, cinema popcorn. They're nice and decent just like any comfort food, but just nothing really impressive. I also thought that I was #teamsweet over #teamsalty when it comes to popcorn flavours. Tbh, I don't even snack on popcorn on regular days unless I'm watching a movie in the cinema. Gotta change that mindset.  The Kettle Gourmet really blew my mind with unique local flavors beyond the traditional selections as they offer a delectable range of sweet and salty types.  Here are the 8 different flavors in the gift box: - Nasi L ..read more

Review | My Cozy Room's Oxygen Purifying Facial Treatment (50% Promo)

It has been several months since my last facial (Don't learn that from me though) and unfortunately, my skin was back to its terrible state of unstoppable acne and breakouts for the past two months. Maskne has become the norm for me and my skin has became really dull from wearing too much masks and makeup. It was tough to endure but I only made time to go for a facial fix recently.  Facials used to be quite basic for me, but it's really a luxe spa-like experience at My Cozy Room. It's really nice to just indulge in a soothing and relaxing facial that comes with quick and long-lasting res ..read more

Exploring Fort Canning Park | Bali-looking Place, Tree Tunnel, Le Jardin Cafe

"I saw this Bali-looking place in SG, where is it huh?" *Checks up google*  "OH ITS IN FORT CANNING PARK? LETS GO" I then decided to dress in a wavy maxi dress to go with the Bali travel vibes because I haven't travelled since Covid happened... Glad I wore this dress for my #ootd because the Sang Nila Utama Garden really has idyllic tropical ambience and it seems like I was walking into a resort spa.  This area by itself is quite small and there's only 1 or 2 photo opportunities, but the whole fort canning park is quite substantial to explore for about a few hours.  W ..read more
