Remembrance Monday will run its exclusive World Premiere at Seven Dials Playhouse from 23 April to 1 June. Written by the critically acclaimed playwright Michael Batten (who also wrote and starred in Self Tape), the play centres on the lives of a devoted gay couple, Julius and Connor. With the action staged in a bathroom, the play unfolds into a thrilling drama, and Michael is keen to tell us how excited he is about the production, even though he can’t provide us with any spoilers.

The LGBTQ+ New Comedian Of The Year Competition is the flagship event from Comedy Bloomers, and 2024 sees 93 acts from the UK and Ireland compete across seven heats. The heats are hosted by some of the UK’s best LGBTQ+ MCs, including Kuan Wen, Charlie George, James Barr, Sue Gives a Fuck and Matthew Ali. In the 90s Love Muscle xx was the legendary multi-award winning LGBTQ+ club night. The weekly night provided the soundtrack to a generation of clubbers and became a queer sanctuary. The night returns on Friday, 29th March 2024 (Good Friday) at the stunning Lafayette club in King’s Cross. Yvette was the clubs iconic host and she will also be hosting Love Muscle xx at The Lafayette. QX had the good fortune to spend a moment with this legend of the 90s club scene.

West London Queer Project (WLQP) is has announced its successful application for a substantial funding grant from Sport England.

STOGGAF is a new Queer Arts Collective. To date, they have curated exhibitions, socials and parties in both London and Manchester.
‘Uncensored’ will showcase upwards of 20 Transgender and Queer artists – from film and photography to painting and sculpture.
